The objectives of this site are :
- To describe the layout, format, content, language and styles of a resume (US) / CV (UK) and a cover letter (US) / covering letter (UK) to help you acquire the skill of writing YOUR resume/CV and cover(ing) letter in English, according to the basic conventions used in the U.S. and the U.K.¹ Besides this description, there are concrete examples of each part of the resume and complete examples of CVs and cover letters at the end.
